‘Close encounters of the feathered kind’
Woodie’s Wings is a registered charity that looks after captive bred birds, mainly parrots and owls, that are no longer able to be cared for by their current owners.
We visit many different shows, fairs and fetes during the summer months and during the winter are happy to give talks about the birds; please contact us if you wish us to attend your event.
If you need to contact us please telephone:
At the present time we are unable to rescue wild birds and would suggest that if you find an injured wild bird you take it to your local veterinary practice. If the bird is uninjured, especially if it is a young bird, please make sure that the bird is safe from harm but leave the bird where it is to give it the best chance of survival.
Please bear with us whilst we rebuild our website which has suffered a technical hitch in recent weeks.
